I can't believe it has taken me so long to review one of my favorite Iowa places, the Sanctuary.  This top notch stop for high end on tap beer and 5 star bar food is my favorite Iowa City eatery.   Just feast your eyes on the ever rotating on tap list:

I always make sure that a visit to the Sanctuary includes dinner.  Over the years we have had most of the items on the menu and every last one of them has been very good.  Some of my favorites include the Crab Cake Sliders, the Witty Cilantro Mussels, and Elk Meatloaf. For classic Pub atmosphere, great service, amazing beer list, and fantastic food I award the Sanctuary
